Genealogical Lineage Societies with Jeanette Sheliga

Cost: Free to members and the general public.

Program Description: There are many different lineage and hereditary societies available that you can join and use their records to help research your family tree. This presentation will include an introduction to these types of societies, how to find their records online at the major genealogy websites, tips on how to join, and more!

About the Presenter: Jeanette Sheliga is a Board Member and Society Vice President for the Niagara County Genealogical Society and the organizer of the North Tonawanda Library Genealogy Club. She is a music teacher by day and spends much of her free time on her favorite hobby of genealogy. She has been a genealogy guest lecturer for many local organizations and libraries since 2011.
