Program Details:
Jessica Johnson, Chana Kotzin, and John Edens of Forest Lawn will present an insider’s look at the Margaret L. Wendt Archive & Resource Center. Scheduled to open in the summer of 2014, this 3,140-square-foot archival “center of excellence” will protect, conserve and make publicly accessible more than 1.2 million historical and genealogical documents. Join us for this free members-only program as we learn about the center’s plans, progress, and the exciting future ahead.

Forest Lawn will also be offering WNYGS members the opportunity to sign-up for an optional history trolley tour that will immediately follow the presentation. The ticket price is $10.

Seating for both events is limited, and advance registration is required. Click here to download a PDF version of the program flyer. Please note all registrations must be received no later than August 9, 2014.

Parking Picture

In the case of this special program, the parking lot gate arm will be open. If it is not (as in the case someone was to arrive late), there is a call button on the gate panel that rings at the front desk. Press the button, and a staff member will then raise the arm for the visitor.

Visitors should park in this front lot or the connected lot marked with an "additional parking" sign.
